Unfortunately a compressor
replacement is one of the costly
repairs you will run into on
your refrigerator or freezer.
When it happens don't go thru
the added expense without making
sure you check a few things.
Once a new compressor is
installed have your technician
check the following.
Condenser coil- Make sure it is
clean, by taking a flash light
you should see light thru the
fins.
Evaporator coil- Make sure it is
clean as well.
Make sure evaporator and
condenser fan motors are working
and blades are clean.
Make sure the unit is getting
proper voltage and all wiring is
in good condition
Make sure the unit is charged
properly.
Make sure a capillary tube or tx
valve is in working order.
