Basic Information On Contactors |

Contactors are used for controlling
electrical current loads in power
switching systems. Common uses are
for motors heating elements and
other power load applications.
Contactors provide isolation between
supply voltage and the main load.
Below is a picture of a common
contactor. The primary voltage load
is in the front and the secondary
voltage is located in the rear of
the contactor.
